Welcome to Thought-Writing
Anyone who keeps a diary or a journal can tell you that putting your thoughts on paper can be a relaxing, revealing, sometimes therapeutic and often powerful experience. By focusing your attention on your own situation in life, often self awareness and mindfulness around your life emerges and expands. With greater self awareness often comes a greater sense of peace, offering clarity of vision and a more intentional future.
Whether it is journaling, jotting down thoughts in a diary, recounting the events of the day or creating plans for the future, writing has been used as a personal tool of meditative focus, self discovery, sharpening one’s intentions and creating lasting change for centuries.
Thoughtwriting has been a loosely used term for some time and it basically means what it implies – the practice of putting thoughts on paper. This can mean just about anything from writing a story, scribbling a note to someone, writing a blog article, working through an idea with paper or keyboard, creating a to-do list or writing a letter. Any time we are writing anything we are writing our thoughts. But “Thought-writing”, as it applies here on this website and in our Thought-writing classes and coaching, is a method for self discovery, personal development and creating meaningful life changes in a gentle, self-directed way.
Most of the time when we are writing, our focus is external. We’re putting our ideas out there, describing the world, ourselves, others, events, communicating to others. Even the practice of writing down goals is usually focused on external results. The difference is that here, Thought-writing is entirely focused within you. There is no audience for Thought-writing other than you and what makes you who you are.
The techniques in Thought-writing workshops and coaching provide an access to your subconscious, to make you aware of the programs you’ve been living, why they are there, and how to let go of those programs that stop you from achieving your aspirations.
On the other hand, Thought-writing techniques can also be used to begin new ways of thinking, creating new belief systems that support and propel you toward your dreams and goals.
Have a look at our website and learn how the regular practice of Thought-writing can both be a method to free you from fearful beliefs and propel you forward with beliefs of abundance and growth. You are the author of your own life. You are the director.
